Exclusive: King Charles III's Surprising Easter Return Amid Cancer Struggle!

London (AP) — Buckingham Palace officials have announced that King Charles III and Queen Camilla are set to attend an Easter service at Windsor Castle's chapel this coming Sunday.

This will be a significant event for Charles, 75, as it marks his first major public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer in February. The royal couple will be joined by other members of the royal family at the Easter Sunday service at St. George's Chapel.

In light of his cancer diagnosis, Charles has significantly scaled back his public engagements, focusing instead on regular treatments. While officials have not disclosed the specific type of cancer Charles has, they have clarified that it is unrelated to his recent treatment for a benign prostate condition.

Despite his health challenges, the monarch remains active in state affairs, continuing his regular weekly meetings with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Charles will not be stepping down from his constitutional role as head of state.

While the full list of attendees for Sunday's service has not been released, it is unlikely that Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, will be present. Last week, the Princess announced that she too is undergoing cancer treatment.
