An incident at a Moscow airport involving an Emirates Airbus A380 has garnered attention after the aircraft was damaged by a truck.

The collision occurred as the A380 was preparing to depart from Domodedovo airport. Reports indicate that the truck, which was carrying drinking water, collided with the A380, resulting in significant damage to the aircraft's fuselage.

According to Russian media, the driver of the truck experienced a medical emergency, believed to be a stroke, which led to the collision.

The driver, a 59-year-old individual, reportedly suffered the stroke suddenly, causing the vehicle to collide with the parked aircraft.

The incident prompted the cancellation of the flight to Dubai, and an investigation is currently underway to determine if any charges will be filed.

Fortunately, no passengers were onboard the aircraft at the time of the incident.

Emirates has rebooked all affected passengers on alternate flights and emphasized that the safety of its passengers and crew is of utmost importance.

Emirates confirmed the incident and stated that the aircraft has been taken out of service for assessment of its technical condition. The airline expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and assured that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of its operations.
