Lara Trump Makes Bold Statement on 2020 Election! What's Next for the RNC?

Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump stated on Tuesday that she believes the party has moved beyond litigating the 2020 election.

Her comments come as her father-in-law, former President Donald Trump, faces legal challenges alleging he illegally tried to overturn the election results.

Lara Trump told NBC News that she thinks the party is "past that" and emphasized the importance of learning from the 2020 election. She criticized voting laws changed during the pandemic, stating they raised questions that were never answered for many.

Lara Trump also highlighted the RNC's focus on election laws, including recent lawsuits.

She expressed support for voting by mail and early voting, initiatives she believes are crucial for the party. Lara Trump emphasized her experience in past campaigns and assured donors that their money would support causes important to Republican voters.

She framed the election as a choice between President Joe Biden and Donald Trump, urging Republicans to unite against Biden's re-election.

Lara Trump clarified the RNC does not support paying Donald Trump's legal bills directly but through a joint fundraising agreement.

Regarding key issues like abortion and Ukraine funding, Lara Trump aligned with her father-in-law's positions, advocating for state decisions on abortion and prioritizing American interests in foreign funding.
