Political Showdown: Buck Slams Boebert, Claims She's Worse Than Expelled GOP Criminal!

Former Rep. Ken Buck recently voiced his disapproval of Lauren Boebert, who is now vying for his seat, suggesting that she and her various controversies "make George Santos look like a saint."

Boebert has accused Buck of resigning early to impede her chances of winning his seat.

In recently aired audio on a Colorado talk radio station, Buck can be heard expressing his low opinion of Rep. Lauren Boebert, saying she "makes George Santos look like a saint."

Buck was referring to the recently expelled New York Republican who faces charges including wire fraud, identity theft, and money laundering, to which he has pleaded not guilty

Reported by Politico, Buck made these comments at a Rotary Club event when asked about the controversial congresswoman.

"I've been asked about her moving across the mountains to run in the 4th congressional district, and I have not said anything," Buck can be heard saying before referencing controversies surrounding her ex-husband and son, as well as her infamous "Beetlejuice" incident.

Boebert, appearing on the "Dan Caplis Show" to respond to Buck's comments, dismissed him as "irrelevant" and "an embarrassment to Colorado."

The two Colorado Republicans have been at odds over Buck's decision to abruptly resign, triggering a special election in Colorado's 4th district.

Boebert decided to move across the state and run in the 4th district in December after Buck announced his retirement, facing the prospect of an expensive reelection campaign and a potential loss to a Democrat in her old district.

However, Buck's early departure has made her path to staying in office more challenging. She has already pledged not to seek the GOP nomination for the special election, as winning would trigger another special election in her old seat.

Local GOP officials are set to choose another candidate, possibly one of her current primary opponents, which puts Boebert at a disadvantage.
