Russia's FSB chief has reportedly briefed President Putin on the recent developments surrounding the Moscow concert terror attack.
According to reports from Russian news agencies, all four gunmen involved in the attack have been apprehended near Russia's western border with Ukraine.
Alexander Bortnikov updated Putin that seven others have also been detained, while the search for additional accomplices is ongoing.
Earlier reports from Russian media included unverified photos of a car believed to belong to the attackers near the western border.
Additionally, a Russian MP mentioned that at least two suspects were captured after a car chase and shootout. However, these claims have not been confirmed by Russian authorities.
The Russian Investigative Committee has confirmed that the death toll from the terrorist act at City Crocus Hall has reached 93, with the possibility of further increases.
Furthermore, 88 people were admitted to hospitals in Moscow, including four children, with 80 still hospitalized. Thirteen individuals are in an extremely serious condition, and 25 are in a serious condition.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the causes of death were gunshot wounds and smoke inhalation.
The Investigative Committee stated that the terrorists used automatic weapons during the attack, and the weapons and ammunition were discovered and seized by investigators.
The terrorists also ignited a flammable liquid at the concert hall, endangering spectators, including the wounded.
