Exclusive: Trump's Secretive VP Hunt Unveiled at Mar-a-Lago!

Donald Trump's team is currently vetting potential vice presidential candidates at Mar-a-Lago, with the former president considering a wide range of names in private discussions.

Susie Wiles, a key adviser to Trump, is leading a secretive process to narrow down a list of approximately twelve lawmakers and other Republican figures under consideration. 

The campaign has enlisted an outside firm to vet candidates and compile research documents. 

Melania Trump, who played a role in Trump's selection of Mike Pence in 2016, is being kept informed. 

Donald Trump Jr. has also indicated he frequently discusses potential candidates with his father.

The list of potential candidates, which appears to be in flux, has included individuals such as Tim Scott, Kristi Noem, Byron Donalds, Elise Stefanik, Tulsi Gabbard, and J.D. 

Vance, whom Trump has described as a "fighter."

Despite downplaying the importance of the vice presidency, Trump regularly solicits opinions from guests at his Mar-a-Lago club and hints at his choices in private meetings and media appearances. 

The selection process is expected to be drawn out, with one source close to the Trump campaign likening it to the style of Trump's former reality show, "The Apprentice."
