A heartbreaking incident occurred when a strong gust of wind lifted a bounce house with several children inside, resulting in the tragic death of a 2-year-old boy and injuring another child. The Pinal County Sheriff's Office received a call around 5 p.m. on Saturday regarding the incident at a residence in Casa Grande, Arizona, on W. Rosemead Drive and N. Bel Air Road. The bounce house was carried by the wind into a neighboring lot, leading to the devastating outcome.
The 2-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The other child, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital for treatment. The authorities have described the incident as a "tragic accident" and are currently investigating its cause.
"Our hearts go out to the family during this incredibly difficult time," said the police statement.
