A significant jet of water gushed from a high-rise in New York City on Thursday morning.
Video footage shared on the Citizen social media app captured the dramatic scene of water bursting from a building in Hell’s Kitchen, at the intersection of West 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, shortly before noon.
The FDNY confirmed to the New York Post that they were responding to a water leak and that there were no reported injuries.
As per a Citizen post, the water flow was stopped by around 12:15 pm, indicating that the leak had lasted for approximately 25-30 minutes.
