The body of a fifth victim from the Baltimore Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse has been found. Miguel Angel Luna Gonzalez, 49, from Glen Burnie, Maryland, was identified as the latest casualty, with authorities recovering his body on Wednesday. Unified Command salvage teams, in their efforts, also located one of the missing construction vehicles from the March incident, informing the Maryland Department of State Police.
Colonel Roland L. Butler, Jr., Superintendent of the Maryland Department of State Police, expressed continued commitment to the recovery operations, acknowledging the families affected by the tragedy. He urged the community to offer their heartfelt sympathies and support during this challenging period.
Prior to Gonzalez's recovery, the bodies of Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes, 35, Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, 26, and Maynor Yasir Suazo-Sandoval, 38, had been retrieved. The identity of the fourth victim, recovered last month, remains undisclosed at the request of the family.
