Jakarta Drowning: Indonesia's Bold $35 Billion Solution!"

Climate change and the subsequent rise in sea levels are leading to Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, being submerged. 

In response, Indonesian officials are in the process of constructing a new capital city called Nusantara. 

However, this ambitious project is expected to incur costs of at least $35 billion and is not projected to be completed until the year 2045.
