Sudan is presently witnessing a devastating civil war pitting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) against the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF).
According to The Guardian, the conflict erupted in the capital city of Khartoum a year ago, leading to the displacement of more than 8 million people.
Nearly two million individuals have fled to neighboring countries like Chad and South Sudan, while millions in the region are facing acute food shortages.
