The head of the British armed forces has warned that the world is becoming significantly more dangerous, citing escalating tensions between major powers in various key regions.
Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the overall commander of the British military, described the past six months as "the most eventful and unsettling in global affairs since the end of the Cold War - with none of the optimism or hope that came with the fall of the Berlin Wall."
