Surprising Twists and Stellar Performances on 'The Voice' Season 25 Results Show!

The country-pop duo's skilled vocalists left a significant impact on NBC's singing competition during the first results show of the season on Tuesday night. After Monday's performances by the Top 12 contestants, viewers voted three members of Team Dan + Shay through, including pop singer Madison Curbelo.

The 22-year-old impressed the coaches on Monday's live show with her powerful rendition of "Yesterday."

Shay Mooney praised Curbelo, stating, "When I hear you sing, I truly feel something. And I'm just so glad that the world is now getting to hear your voice. Because it's not just your voice that's coming out. It's your soul; it's your spirit.

It's joy literally just going out into the world."

Team Dan + Shay now leads Season 25 with the most singers in the competition.

On Tuesday's episode, Tae Lewis of Team Dan + Shay won viewers' Instant Save vote, saving himself from elimination with a lively performance of "The Church on Cumberland Road" by Shenandoah.

The 32-year-old's cover of the late-'80s country hit stood out among the bottom four performances thanks to his soulful vocals and concert-ready charisma. Dan Smyers praised Lewis, saying, "That was like a finale performance.

We are so proud of you, how far you’ve come. I hear it in your voice, I see it in your eyes, and I feel it in your soul.

You want to be here. You deserve to be here." Despite delivering knockout performances, Team Reba's L. Rodgers ("Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me" by Elton John), Team Chance's Nadège ("Smooth Operator" by Sade), and Team Legend's Zoe Levert ("Slow Burn" by Kacey Musgraves) were unable to secure spots in the Season 25 semifinals.
