GWU Chaos: Anarchists Demand Beheadings on Campus!

Anarchists at George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C., have reportedly advocated for the beheading of school administrators during their ongoing anti-Israel protest.

Demonstrators on campus recently called for the use of a "guillotine" on GW President Ellen Granberg and other administrators, as shown in a video posted on social media. A person can be heard chanting "Guillotine, Guillotine, Guillotine, Guillotine," with others joining in, while some specifically targeted Christopher Alan Bracey, GW’s African American provost, according to The National Desk (TND).

Another voice in the video can be heard shouting, "To the guillotine," followed by, "Off to the motherf****** gallows with you too." As of Wednesday morning, at least 35 people had been arrested at GWU, according to DC police.

Members of the encampment held a mock court hearing to decide the fate of the administrators, with an encampment leader announcing a fake verdict for Bracey.

The chaos caused by the agitators in GWU’s U-Yard prompted police intervention around 3:30 a.m., during which officers used pepper spray to disperse the crowd.

For several days, the encampment featured tents, Palestinian flags, and defaced statues of former President George Washington with Palestinian imagery, including "Free Palestine" stickers.

On Wednesday, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and Police Chief Pamela Smith are expected to testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding the anti-Israel demonstration and safety concerns on the GWU campus.

Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, initially criticized D.C. leadership for not responding to the university’s request for help in handling the increasingly confrontational protests.

The House Oversight Committee will hold a hearing titled "Oversight of D.C.’s Response to Unlawful Activity and Antisemitism" at 1 p.m. EST in the 2154 Rayburn House Office Building on Wednesday, which marks the 14th day of the encampment.
