Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene announced on Wednesday her decision to push forward with her bid to oust Speaker Mike Johnson from the top position in the House, even though her efforts appear unlikely to succeed.
The Georgia Republican, who first introduced a motion to vacate the speaker's chair in March, stated at a news conference outside the U.S. Capitol that she intends to bring her motion to the House floor for a vote next week.
