Trump's $355 Million Fine: Judge Denies Delay, What Happens Next Will Shock You!

New York Judge Arthur Engron has denied a request by former President Trump's lawyers to delay enforcement of a $355 million fine paid in a civil fraud trial over his business dealings, according to court filings.

The development is significant as GOP presidential front-runners have been seeking delays and mistrials in various court cases. This latest decision deals a significant financial blow to him, as he was recently ordered to pay $83.3 million in a separate trial.

In response to a filing by New York Attorney General Letitia James to sign Angoron, Trump's lawyers argued that he should have been notified beforehand. However, Engoron ruled that they had not provided any explanation or justification for the investment.

Trump and his co-defendants now have 30 days from the entry of judgment to post bond and appeal the judgment. Angoron's verdict includes fines totaling $364 million against Trump, his companies and his co-defendants, including his two eldest sons. Additionally, the defendants face a statutory interest rate of 9% and Trump is barred from conducting business in New York as an officer or director for three years.
