Trump's Surprising New Venture: The Patriotic Bible That's Making Waves!

Former President Donald Trump is now promoting a unique Bible, the "God Bless the USA Bible," as part of his campaign to return to the White House.

Trump, who is expected to be the Republican nominee, recently released a video on his Truth Social platform urging his supporters to purchase this special Bible, which is inspired by Lee Greenwood's patriotic song "God Bless the USA," a song often played at Trump rallies.

The Bible includes a King James Version translation and also features additional patriotic elements such as copies of the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance. It even includes a handwritten chorus of Greenwood's famous song.

Marketed as "the only Bible endorsed by President Trump!" it boasts of large print and a slim design, making it convenient for reading and carrying around.

Trump's promotion of the Bible comes at a time when he is facing financial difficulties, including mounting legal bills stemming from criminal indictments and civil charges.

A recent court decision has given him a temporary reprieve from a $454 million civil fraud judgment, provided he puts up $175 million within 10 days.

Despite these challenges, Trump expressed enthusiasm for endorsing the Bible, stating, "All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many. It’s my favorite book. We must make America pray again."

In addition to promoting the Bible, Trump has been involved in various other commercial ventures, including a line of Trump-branded sneakers, NFTs (nonfungible tokens), and books featuring his time in office.

The website for the "God Bless the USA Bible" clarifies that the product is not intended to be political and is not owned or controlled by Trump or his organizations. Instead, it uses his name, likeness, and image under a paid license from CIC Ventures LLC.

Trump's relationship with Christianity has been a topic of interest and debate. Despite his popularity among white evangelical Christians, Trump's behavior and statements have sometimes been at odds with traditional Christian teachings.

For example, during his 2016 campaign, he mistakenly referred to "Two Corinthians," and he has been hesitant to share his favorite Bible verse publicly.

His decision to pose with a Bible outside St. John's Church during protests in 2020 was widely criticized by religious leaders.
