BREAKING: Woman Who Stole Biden's Daughter's Diary Faces Arrest - Shocking Details Inside!

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A federal judge cautioned that the woman who confessed to stealing President Joe Biden's daughter Ashley's diary and assisting in its sale to conservative activists could face arrest as early as Friday for skipping her sentencing.

Aimee Harris, a resident of Florida, was scheduled to be sentenced in Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon but was unable to attend due to "childcare and other issues," as stated by her legal representatives.

This marked the third postponement of her sentencing this year.

Appearing via video, Harris was informed by U.S. District Judge Laura Swain that her sentencing would be postponed until April 9.

However, Swain warned that unless Harris submits additional documents, including a financial affidavit, by noon on Friday, an arrest warrant would be issued.

"I hope I don't have to," Swain remarked. "Neither you nor your children needs the United States Marshals looking for you, finding you, and bringing you to New York."

Harris and another resident of Florida, Robert Kurlander, pleaded guilty on Aug. 25, 2022, to conspiring to commit interstate transportation of stolen property in connection with Ashley Biden's diary. Court documents reveal that Harris stole the diary while staying at a home in Delray Beach, Florida, where Ashley Biden had previously stayed and stored her diary and other belongings.

Harris then recruited Kurlander to assist in selling the diary, along with Ashley Biden's family photos and other items, to the conservative activist group Project Veritas, which paid them $20,000 each.

Prosecutors had recommended that Swain sentence Harris to six months of house arrest and three years of supervised release, while Harris requested probation.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan stated that Harris' communications with Kurlander indicated that she was partially motivated by a desire to "harm Candidate-1's campaign" -- a reference to Democrat Joe Biden's successful 2020 White House run.

Kurlander is scheduled to be sentenced on April 12.

Project Veritas has claimed that Harris and Kurlander asserted they obtained the diary lawfully but did not publish a story because they could not verify its authenticity.

Instead, they arranged for it to be sent to Florida law enforcement.

Project Veritas frequently releases hidden camera footage attempting to expose alleged wrongdoing by left-leaning organizations and has often been accused of employing deceptive tactics.
