Trump's Shocking Move: Demands Firing of NBC's Chuck Todd Over McDaniel Dismissal!

Donald Trump provided a glimpse into what a potential second presidency might entail by calling for the removal of NBC News host Chuck Todd in response to the dismissal of former Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel.

The former "Meet the Press" moderator criticized network executives for assigning McDaniel to his successor Kristen Welker, arguing that an apology was owed to Welker. 

He accused McDaniel of promoting "gaslighting" and "character assassination" in her interactions with the media. Trump later stated that Todd should also be dismissed.

Trump expressed his discontent on Truth Social, questioning the network's decision to allow Todd, whom he derisively referred to as "Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd," to publicly criticize their hiring choices. 

He criticized Todd's performance and ratings, suggesting that Todd should have been fired from "Meet the Press" earlier.

Additionally, Trump threatened to revoke NBC's charter, although such an action does not exist. 

He also pledged to investigate Comcast, the parent company of NBC/MSNBC, if re-elected, citing biased coverage. 

Trump accused MSNBC of controlling NBC and criticized Chairman Brian Roberts for allowing Todd to berate him over hiring decisions.

Todd's criticisms of McDaniel's hiring were echoed by other broadcasters, including Rachel Maddow, Joe Scarborough, and Mika Brzezinski, who cited her involvement in Trump's efforts to challenge the 2020 election results and her dissemination of falsehoods about the election outcome.
