The report included interviews with two individuals supportive of Putin who claimed that their lives had improved under sanctions. Additionally, Chinese military analyst Zhang Junshe praised the parade for showcasing Russia's military prowess and its defiance against Western pressure.
This display of support contradicts Xi Jinping's stated position of neutrality on the Ukraine conflict, suggesting a deeper partnership between China and Russia rooted in their shared hostility towards the West and its democratic values.
