Shocking Global Recruitment Drive: Russia's Secret War Strategy Revealed!

Russia has launched an extensive global recruitment campaign, seeking to enlist foreign soldiers from over 20 countries to participate in its ongoing conflict against Ukraine, according to a recent report.

Forbes Ukraine's report, citing intelligence sources from Ukraine's Main Directorate of Intelligence, reveals that Russia is enticing foreign civilians into combat roles by falsely promising well-paid, non-combat positions. The recruitment drive is said to span the globe, targeting economically disadvantaged nations like Cuba, Nepal, and countries in Central Asia.

Russia is primarily focusing on migrants and students to strengthen its forces, Forbes reported. The report also mentions recruitment efforts in India, where two Indian fatalities were reported among those recruited by Russia in early March. The Indian Central Bureau of Investigation previously announced the arrest of 35 individuals linked to human trafficking in Russia.

In Nepal, at least 10 Nepalis have reportedly died in combat in Russia, with hundreds more serving or missing. Nepal has responded by suspending work permits for its citizens heading to Russia and Ukraine. Russia's recruitment drive reportedly also includes Cuba, Venezuela, and several African nations such as Burkina Faso and Mali. It has also reached into North Africa, except for Morocco, which has supported Ukraine.

Recruitment activities are also noted in Middle Eastern countries, including Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. Even in Europe, regions like Serbia and Moldova's pro-Russian Gagauzia and Transnistria are reportedly supplying mercenaries. The Kremlin reportedly plans to recruit hundreds more soldiers from foreign countries.

This recruitment drive coincides with Moscow's recent northeast offensive in Ukraine, the most significant border incursion since the full-scale invasion began. Within two days, Moscow captured between 38 to 47 square miles, including at least seven depopulated villages. The aim of intensifying offensive operations is to stretch Ukraine's forces thin and create breakthroughs.

While small amounts of US military aid have started to reach Ukraine's front line, particularly in much-needed artillery, it will take at least two months before incoming supplies can meet Kyiv's needs to maintain its defensive line.
