Real Madrid's Shocking Mbappe Transfer News: No Player Sales Needed!

La Liga president Javier Tebas has stated that Real Madrid will not need to sell any players to finance the signing of Kylian Mbappe, the French captain. Mbappe recently informed Paris Saint-Germain that he intends to leave when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Since joining PSG from AS Monaco in 2018 for around £150 million, he has been a standout performer, amassing 244 goals and 105 assists in 291 appearances.

Despite interest from clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United, a move to Real Madrid appears likely, with reports suggesting an agreement between Mbappe and the Spanish club has been reached.

While Mbappe will be available on a free transfer, his signing will still require a substantial financial commitment, including a reported £128 million signing-on fee spread over his five-year contract, along with an annual salary of £12.8 million.

There were speculations that Real Madrid might need to offload players to afford Mbappe, with Vinicius Junior being one of the players mentioned.

However, Tebas has dismissed these suggestions, stating that Real Madrid is in a strong financial position and does not need to sell players to fund the deal.

Tebas expressed his satisfaction with the signing of Mbappe, considering him one of the best players in the world.

He also addressed his strained relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, stating that while they haven't spoken in three years, he is pleased with the signing and wishes Perez well, despite their disagreements over the proposed Super League.
