Shocking Targeted Shooting Leaves Five, Including Children, in Critical Condition!

Five individuals, including three children under the age of ten, were shot at a residence in San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday night in what authorities suspect was a targeted shooting.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar stated that all five victims, two adults, and three children, are in critical condition. The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. CT on the 6700 block of Windsor Hollow Dr. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the five victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The youngest victim is just four years old, according to authorities.

The victims were immediately transported to the San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. As of now, there are no further details available regarding their condition.

Sheriff Salazar mentioned that two suspects are believed to have arrived at the residence in a vehicle, approached the house, and then fired approximately 20-25 shots using long, semi-automatic rifles before fleeing. Law enforcement officials believe that this was a targeted shooting incident. Salazar expressed relief, saying, "It's a miracle we're not dealing with five dead bodies right now."

Based on the information gathered so far, it appears that the suspects and the victims were acquainted with each other.

No weapons belonging to the suspects, who remain unidentified, were found at the scene. Authorities do not believe that there is an immediate threat to the public.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
